Course Benefits

A chain is only as strong as its weakest link - customer service is only as good as the effectiveness of your weakest team member. We live in times where client expectations have never been greater and where niggles and complaints are all too common. This course looks at how each team member can provide the client with a service that goes a long way to meet their expectations. The day also examines how the interaction and communication between team members if not effective can cause things to go wrong and ultimately affect the client’s experience or damage the relationship with a neighbouring practice. Furthermore, the interactive workshop covers what can be done if the ‘proverbial hits the fan’.

On the day, working in teams, you will dissect staged scenarios and look at some of the causes of common problems associated with poor communication and the absence of, or poor adherence to practice protocols. You will also look at measures that can be introduced to prevent the repetition of such issues. The course has been designed to provide you with practical tips to take back and introduce into your practice.

  • Enhance communcation both within your practice and when you work with other practices if one of you covers emergency work or when a client seeks a second opinion

  • Plus any other challenging situations you bring to the day to discuss.

Who is this course for?

This course is suitable for any member of your practice team, irrespective of their role (vets, veterinary nurses, managerial and customer service staff) and there is great benefit in more than one person from your practice attending.

On the day

The workshop begins at 9.30am. Please arrive from 9.00am when coffee and tea will be provided on arrival. The workshop runs until 4.30pm and lunch will be included.
