You are a manager or team leader whose 'team' wastes so much time always explaining things!

About this Event

The biggest challenge in my career was bridging the communications gap between team members, leaders and the businesses executives. We all spoke and wrote in English yet rarely achieved more than a basic level of exchanged understanding. They always had to explain long-winded things when all I wanted was a summary. As the leader I should be coaching all the time, sometimes its just painful and not enjoyable in our team meetings. As for reports and death-by-presentation, that is a whole different waste of time. My time with Honeywell gave me insights into our own character traits and how we interact and communicate with others. Over the years that has been researched and developed as a part of my career, and a part of me personally.

I will share those experiences to help frame a systematic way of looking at everyone else that will help you work better with them. To overcome that disconnect and engage better with those around you. The core will be character traits, leadership cultures and sentiment and writing. Its an Action Learning session so open to explore whatever extras the group would wish for? We are all more the same than we might believe.
