About this Event

Communicating Your Craft: How to Tell Better Stories

Whether it’s on social media or other platforms, it’s more important than ever for designers and makers to tell an engaging story.

Join curator, content creator and creative business expert Charlene C Lam of The Creative Edit for this lively and interactive presentation on communicating your craft, value and values - whether it’s on Instagram, on your website or in physical marketing materials.

In this talk tailored for the London Design Festival audience, she will share case studies and top tips for telling your story in a way that makes sense for you and your creative business.

Charlene C Lam is a NYC-LDN curator, design writer, business coach and social media expert. She’s passionate about helping people to live a creative life and make a creative living — without losing their minds!

Her specialty is helping creative brands to show and sell their work by telling better stories. She’s the founder of The Creative Edit, Director of Content for NYC design show WantedDesign, and host of the forthcoming Frustrated Creative Podcast. She delivers talks and workshops on social media for the likes of Clerkenwell Design Week, 100% Design and the British Institute of Interior Design.
