Communicating your research for impact
Event Information
About this event
Communicating your research, whether through media, social media, events or other University channels can have a number of benefits from engaging with policy makers, increasing citations and opportunities for collaboration, enhancing international reputation and, of course, pleasing the funders of the research. This interactive workshop, delivered by members of the Marketing and Communications team, will provide you with some top tips to help you get started with promoting your research and engaging with policy makers to help maximise the impact and reach of your research. In the second half of the session, there will be an opportunity to develop and practice your ‘elevator pitch’ for policy makers and media stakeholders. Please come ready to give a 30 second summary of your research.
