Description

The ability to communicate and influence is an important personal skill that is critical to business. Whether it’s a 1-2-1 with an employee or a presentation to customer, we all need to communicate effectively. In our first Communication and Influencing Seminar, we will be helping delegates to understand what makes communication effective, both verbally and in written presentations. We will explore different influencing techniques and, using a practical exercise, put these skills to the test. We will explore a range of skills, including:

  • Understanding how to tailor your communication to your audience
  • How you can improve your active listening
  • Generating support for change in your audience
  • Getting the right structure for presentation to achieve your outcomes
  • The 10 influencing techniques you can use to convince stakeholders
  • Building trust through communication

Why attend?

  • You will learn why understanding personality is key to communication
  • You will receive practical tools to help you influence people
  • You can discuss current communication challenges in your business
  • You will receive guidance from both an expert advisor and your peers

This seminar will be an interactive working session that will challenge your thinking, leaving you with practical skills that will have an immediate impact on your business. This event is perfect for business leaders and managers who wish to develop and improve their ability to communicate with customers, suppliers, employees and across wider business relationships.
