Communication & Innovation
for Professional & Business Growth

Introductory Workshop

Communication & Innovation for Professional & Business Growth is a cycle of physical and online workshops helping participants identify and address the challenges that are getting in the way of their own professional and business development.

The work we'll introduce you to here, draws on leading-edge growth programmes like that of Netflix and our own five-year research with universities and industry across Europe.  Built upon the rigour of action science, we have created a physical and virtual forum where you can practice skills and behaviours required to develop and facilitate across your company a different kind of leadership -- one that energises personal, professional and business growth.

At the event, you will be joined by trusted representatives of our creative learning community who are practising the same skills to solve problems collaboratively and facilitate responsible change.  In a confidential environment, they act as critical friends, help design work place experiments, and share their own lessons learned.

Improve productivity or enter new markets
These workshops serve as excellent preparation grounds for participants seeking to implement internal change or to position their companies in new, unfamiliar and emerging markets – to take advantage of opportunities created by political, environmental, social, technological, legal and environmental change. These tools can be applied in most business development contexts, from export trade, low carbon and life sciences to circular economy, financial technology and future cities.

As well as developing skills and behaviours to facilitate change in your own work setting, the workshops will help you make more of conferences, trade missions and expos by helping you draw out, capture and promote your learning.

Learning Outcomes
This Introductory Workshop is offered as a stand-alone session or as a first step on a new learning journey, with the following outcomes:

• Social & emotional – engaging and developing a fellowship of peers sharing lessons in creating change in their individual work settings;
• Intellectual – introducing a template of skills and behaviours;
• Commercial – exploring your growth spiral and collaboration with others.

Whether or not you continue on the journey, the content delivered in this Introductory Workshop is yours to keep and use as you see fit.  All handouts are included in the price.

Action Learning
Today's global environment is one of rapid change. To survive and thrive, we need to understand how that change can bring both risk and opportunity. Contented has developed a quality framework for participative and experiential learning that helps address these challenges.

Action Learning is a process that helps individuals improve performance by studying their own actions and experience. It's a means of successfully engaging small groups of people who, working together on real challenges, can use their combined knowledge and experience to grow.

Attend the workshop cycle to develop the practice of Action Learning and plan how to deploy it in your personal or professional life; explore how the process can drive values-led growth and help develop new products and services.

Your facilitators
All Contented facilitators are experienced in projects for change.
