Who is this workshop for?

This workshop is aimed at key professionals such as teachers, support workers and social workers who are supporting EAL/BAME/UASC students remotely during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Overview

In this interactive and thought-provoking, workshop participants will:

● discover why the language we use can be difficult for EAL learners to understand.

● learn and apply tips and strategies on how to adapt everyday language in order to communicate more effectively with EAL children and young people online.

● have the chance to share experiences with other professionals.
