Behaviour change has been fundamental to the public service response to the pandemic – understanding the leading behaviour change models for public service communications and their application in practice.
About Laura
Dr Laura de Molière is Head of Behavioural Science in the Government Communication Service (after being the Lead Scientist in DWP Behavioural Science). Laura holds a PhD from UCL in decision-sciences and social cognition, and a BSc in Psychology from the same university. She has authored the Strategic Communications: A Behavioural Approach publication and embedded the COM-B approach in campaigns across government. Laura also runs a behavioural science consultancy in Germany, advising development institutes and government departments on behaviour change projects across the world. She is an Honorary Senior Research Associate at UCL and has guest lectured at LSE, UCL and Cambridge.
About the Communications Academy
The Communications Academy is a week of virtual activities to celebrate and share communications best practice. The events will introduce new thinking and share lessons learned by communicators in these extraordinary times.
