This interactive workshop has been designed to generate discussion and ideas around how to communicate effectively both to your membership and in raising the profile of the U3A externally.
Objectives for the day include:
- to discuss effective use of social media
- to consider and review the different methods of communicaton
- to discuss and identify the different messages that the U3A wants to convey
- to consider who your audience is and the best way to reach them.
Who should attend?
This workshop will be useful for committee members, newsletter editors, website officers and those involved with promoting and publicising the U3A.
The workshop will be participative and attendees will be encouraged to network and share their experiences with those from neighbouring U3As.
The day will run from 10.30am, (allowing for networking prior to an 11am start) to 15.30pm. It will be facilitated by National Office staff and volunteers. This event is offered by the Trust with no cost for attendance. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
