Event description

Description

This workshop will provide King's researchers with an overview of the potential uses of Twitter, Facebook and Instagram as tools to raise their profile and reach wider audiences - including policy makers and professional groups - with their research. It is designed to be accessible to those new to social media and useful to more experienced users.

In the second half of the session Dr Alice Evans, Lecturer in the Social Science of Development in the School of Global Affairs, will give her own insights into the value of social media for researchers. Faculty communications staff will lead the session and be on hand to answer questions throughout.

All academic staff and doctoral students in the Faculty of Social Science & Public Policy at King's College London are welcome to attend.

Contact Sam Martin with any questions: Samuel.t.martin@kcl.ac.uk

This is the first in a series of communications workshops, a partnership between the School of Education, Communication & Society External Relations Committee and the SSPP Faculty Communications network.
