About this event

Community Brightside Spotlight 1- Health Inequalities -

The aim of this training is to raise awareness, especially following the focus the Covid 19 pandemic has put on health inequalities. Including information about how Public Health measure health inequalities locally. Opportunities to reflect on what steps you can take in your organisation to reduce health inequalities and to share your views to feed into South Gloucestershire Council Community Conversations Programme.

As we move into the next phase of work in the community during a pandemic, Community Brightside is an opportunity to reflect on the inequalities impacted on by Covid-19 and innovate together to reduce the impact on health.

It is a program to celebrate and support the excellent work the community and voluntary sector has done during the pandemic.

While investing in the continued professional development of your staff and volunteers, the organisation you are linked to can claim a £500 project budget to undertake a project in your community related to the spotlight sessions undertaken. You can also use this project budget to cover staff costs where needed to attend the two spotlight sessions.

Please sign up for one Spotlight 1- Health Inequalities and one Spotlight 2- Infection Prevention Control sessions to join the programme.
