The Community Cinema Conference is a chance to celebrate the remarkable accomplishments in volunteer-led cinema over the past year and look towards what’s next for the sector. Connect with the diverse network of community cinemas from across the UK, foster a sense of unity and raise a toast to the future at the year's biggest celebration of community-led film exhibition!

Our Early Bird sale is available until 14th March.

The event will comprise of workshops, screenings, networking opportunities and the Film Society of the Year Awards, with special guests from the community cinema sector and beyond! You can expect*:

We have announced our exciting film programme here and you can see the preliminary timetable here, but stay tuned for the full, jam-packed programme!

We're have confirmed two of this year's seminars; 'Uniting through Cinema: Programming with your community', chaired by Tatenda Jamera from Moana Art, and 'Building a Home Through Cinema', chaired by Paula Stott from Harrogate Film Society.

Passes are £65 and include food throughout the day. There is a reduced price pass for 18-30s and those on low income. Want to come but need some support? Your local Film Hub may be able to provide bursaries to help cover a percentage of the costs for your pass, travel and accommodation.

Access Bursaries available for the Conference 2024:

We have a limited number of free tickets and travel bursaries of £50 available for under 30s, those on low/no income and those with access needs.These will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Please email ellie@cinemaforall.org.uk to express interest.

All sessions will be BSL interpreted and captioned.

Information on our Safer Spaces Policy can be found here. Guide, access assistant, emotional support and hearing dogs are welcome to attend the conference.
