Stroke is a medical emergency. It can happen to anyone, of any age, at any time. The impact can be devastating, costing people their ability to move, communicate and lead their everyday lives.
Two-thirds of people who survive a stroke find themselves living with a disability. And 1 in 4 strokes happen in people of working age. But there is life after stroke and the Stroke Association would like to show how you and your organisation can help rebuild lives after stroke in Derbyshire, to help people thrive not just survive.
