About this Event

Naomi Foyle joins Tongues & Grooves in the Community and Journeys Festival International Portsmouth for a free poetry workshop, exploring themes of home, hope and journeys. Taking inspiration from poems written by members of Portsmouth’s refugee and asylum-seeking community, the workshop is suitable for all levels of experience, whether you’re an award-winning writer or a complete beginner.

The workshop will take place from 10.15am - 12.15pm with a public reading by Naomi Foyle following the workshop which workshop participants would be welcome to stay for.

Naomi’s poetry is inspired by travel, politics and football.

Part of Journeys Festival International Portsmouth (18 - 27 October).
