Community Crime-Fighting: Hammersmith and Fulham

Community Crime-Fighting: Hammersmith and Fulham

By Met Police Events

Overview

Join your local policing team and the Met Police senior leadership to hear about crime-fighting in Hammersmith and Fulham.

Policing is most successful when built on a foundation of working in neighbourhoods – close to and, where possible, with Londoners.

The Met is hosting this event to talk about crime-fighting in your community and to give you the chance to have your say.

Do you have key concerns in your local area which you would like to see addressed? Do you want to know more about how the Met is cracking down on crime? As well as interacting with us digitally through our new Met Engage platform, your local Community Crime-Fighting event is a chance to engage directly with your local policing team and senior Met officers.

On arrival, volunteers will register your attendance and direct you to networking and refreshments. This is your chance to meet local officers and teams working to deliver improvements in your borough.

Following this, the local borough policing team and a member of the Met’s management board will outline our policing strategy, local priorities and upcoming work.

The evening will close after a Q&A session, giving you the opportunity to ask questions or if you prefer, leave written feedback. Further opportunities for discussion will be available throughout the event.

What you’ll hear about

  • How we’re working to strengthen trust, cut crime and raise standards
  • Progress since A New Met for London (2023) and how we’re building on that in our next phase
  • Crime-fighting in your local borough

Who will be there

  • Senior officers from the Metropolitan Police.
  • Local teams and officers fighting crime in your community – ready to listen to your questions and concerns.

Over the next three years, the Metropolitan Police is determined to make the Met the best possible local police service for London and Londoners.

Tickets are limited to one per person and events are likely to be busy. Please book early to avoid disappointment. If tickets are gone, join the waitlist and we’ll contact you if a place becomes available.
