Join us for another Creative Packing Community Day, this time making Toiletry Kits for donation.
HandsOn London works with over 180 charity projects, including homeless shelters, refugee centres and women’s refuges. These ongoing relationships help us to identify where support is needed the most. Some of the most requested items are the ones that rarely get donated. These are often personal hygiene items, including shampoo and conditioner, soaps and body wash, toothbrushes, toothpaste, combs, and other hygiene essentials.
Our volunteers pack clear bags with travel size toiletry items, which are most practical as they are easy to transport and to hand over to someone using a drop-in hostel. Each kit also includes a personalised card for the beneficiary.
This event will take place at HandsOn's base in Camden. Just two hours of your time allows you to meaningfully contribute to our Toiletry Kits project. Get mindfully creative, socialise with other volunteers in our community, and give back to this summer.
