CommUNIty Discovery Series is a collaboration between Bournemouth University and Talbot Village Residents Association helping local people to connect, learn and grow together!

A Life on High Alert is a powerful and personal talk by Jo Keeling, sharing her journey of adapting to life with severe allergies while raising a family and finding new purpose. From the challenges of everyday situations like eating out or sending children to nursery and school for the first time, to the bigger questions of independence at university, Jo explores what it means to live under constant risk and how resilience, awareness and education can turn fear into strength. This talk will resonate with students, parents and anyone interested in understanding how we can better support those living with hidden but life threatening conditions.
