About this event
This event will bring together Community Energy England and members of the sector to help craft a strategy for community energy’s COP26 legacy and share learnings and experiences from COP26.
We will have sessions looking forward to 2022 and how the sector can use the momentum of COP26 as a springboard for the sector’s advocacy work.
We will have perspectives from across the sector, including:
- Hannah McLean-Knight, Coalition Coordinator at The Climate Coalition
- Duncan Law, CEE’s Policy and Advocacy manager
- Prina Sumaria, Local energy coordinator at Regen
- Dave Tudgey, Bristol Energy Network
- Chloe Uden from the Arts and Energy Collective, and Jemma Knowles Plymouth Energy Community representative to discuss their Moths to a Flame project
There will be an opportunity to register interest in a new advocacy working group to build on COP26 and drive forwards the legacy strategy.
The event will be held online and will be recorded so we can publish it on YouTube afterwards - by booking you agree to this. You are welcome just to join for the sessions you're interested in, but please be aware that the times below are liable to change.
Please register below and (before attending) we would be grateful if you could fill out this google form, which will help inform the content of the session and our future direction:
