COMMUNITY FERMENTATION WORKSHOP with Linda North of The Green Nut.

Booking essential – limited spaces!

Join us for a hands-on fermentation workshop where we’ll explore the basics of preserving seasonal produce and boosting your gut health – naturally. In this friendly, practical session, we’ll be making three classic ferments: sauerkraut, kimchi, and pickled vegetables.

Fermentated foods are on the rise and rightly so, incredibly delicious and with an abundance of health. Fermented foods are rich in beneficial bacteria that support your gut microbiome, which plays a huge role in digestion, immunity, and even mood.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refresh your skills, this workshop will give you the knowledge and confidence to ferment at home.

Who’s it for?

This workshop is open to everyone – from the fermentation-curious to seasoned food lovers. It’s a great opportunity to learn, connect, and take home something nourishing that you’ve made yourself.

What to bring:

  • Please bring 3 clean jars (medium-sized, ideally around 250 - 500ml each).
  • All other ingredients will be provided.

About the facilitator:

Linda North is a nutritionist, plant-based chef, and community educator with a passion for gut health, fermentation, and simple, accessible food practices. She runs food and well-being sessions across Sutton and beyond, helping people reconnect with the joy of making food together.
