Event description

Description

Over the past year Viewpoint Community Media has been working with Voluntary Action Swindon (VAS), Swindon Equality Coalition and five community groups to produce a series of short films relating to equality and inclusion as part of the Swindon200 project, funded by Wiltshire Community Foundation.

Join us for a Community Film Festival where we will be screening the newly-made films for the first time.

For this screening we will be showing a film made with Swindon Feminist Network who are a group that are interested in gender issues and stereotyping that affect all of us in society want to put a stop to unfair treatment of someone because of his or her sex. Come along and find out more about feminism, the issues that affect women and of course the network..

The film will be followed by a discussion about how issues can be addressed, people's lives improved and our communities become stronger and more inclusive. It will also be a chance to ask questions to the groups whose work the films cover.
