Community Forest Fungi Survey: 12th October 2025
A great opportunity to learn new skills and meet other people with an interest in nature. There will be experts on hand to help accurately identify fungi. If you are interested in how to report wildlife records, why not join the free Wildlife Recorder Training (see link below) that will be running in Tafarn Sinc in the morning before joining the Fungi Survey in the afternoon.

Mae Coed Preseli yn goedwig dan berchnogaeth lleol preifat yn cynnwys nifer o goetiroedd conwydd a chymysg, yn cael ei reoli yn unol ag egwyddorion Coedwigaeth Gorchudd Parhaus sy'n cynhyrchu coed parhaus a gwella a chynnal bioamrywiaeth.
Collaborating with Communities and Wildlife in the Preselis is a project being run by Coed Preseli in 3 of its woodland sites on Mynydd Preseli.
Coed Preseli, which is a privately owned forest comprising several conifer-dominated woodlands, is managed according to Continuous Cover Forestry principles which delivers sustained production of timber with enhancement and maintenance of biodiversity.
Ariennir y prosiect hwn gan gynllun y Grant Buddsoddi mewn Coetiroedd (TWIG). Mae'n cael ei ddarparu gan Gronfa Treftadaeth y Loteri Genedlaethol mewn partneriaeth â Llywodraeth Cymru.
This project is funded by The Woodland Investment Grant (TWIG) scheme. It is being delivered by The National Lottery Heritage Fund in partnership with the Welsh Government.
