Community garden bed tidy up plus a mini craft workshop

By Kingston University Biodiversity Action Group

Overview

Joining forces with LLS Green Impact Team to run a community garden event & mini workshop

KUBAG are joining forces with the Library & Learning Services (LLS) Green Impact Team to run a community garden lunchtime event with a workshop this November and December. In November we will be concentrating on getting one of the new beds weeded and filled with mulch for 30 minutes, before we undertake a free dried flower arranging workshop. This workshop will include a taste of the produce from the garden. Sign up if you’re up for the challenge of getting this small bed prepared for the winter while tasting the lovely produce linked to the garden.

In December we will be back at the garden to help the team prepare their second bed for 30 minutes and then we will be running a free 60 minute wreath making workshop.

For both events attendance of the first 30 minutes of the gardening challenge is mandatory for taking part in the workshops that follow. If you are only free for the garden challenge element and want to attend, please feel free to sign up.

The workshops will be held in the Nightingale Centre Room KH.NC.0031.
