With nature photography, arts and crafts, and a mindful meander, you’re invited to celebrate the start of something special this September.
The always awesome Kat Naish will lead a nature photography workshop designed for all ages and abilities. Focussed on finding a deep connection with nature, the workshop doesn’t require any existing skill, knowledge or experience - and yes, your phone camera will easily be good enough.
Alongside nature photography, there will be craft and natural art. We’ll lead a mindful meander for anyone who wants to explore the park. Plus, we’ll brighten the Wellderness-sponsored raised bed with herbaceous plants designed to add a splash of colour as the weather turns cold.
Of course, there will also be Kubb, cuppas and the community. And if you need it, there’s space to simply be. In nature.
Join us in Brooklands Park on the 20th of September from 10am until 2pm.
We’ll hold the space, you choose what to do with it.
What you need to know

You can access the Community Garden from either of the car parks - remember to pay for your parking.
You can also reach the park by bus, with several routes stopping on Brighton Road and Western Road. Check with your service operator for times and availability.
