Community Gardening at Market Road Garden, Islington

This is the third year we've been running volunteer community gardening sessions at Market Road Garden. It's a beautiful but slightly neglectd public park, and we've spent the sessions adding plants, bulbs and trees, weaving hedges, weeding and much more.

If you enjoy being outside in nature, learning and sharing your gardening skills and meeting new people come along and join us. Sessions run from 10am to 12pm every Tuesday and Wednesday., and everyone is welcome, though under 16' must be with an adult.

We meet just inside the park - you'll see our signs and us!

This autumn we'll be planting spring bulbs and native hedging, collecting leaves for mulching, continuing weaving hedges and generally weeding and pruning.
