Community Hubs are a great opportunity for anyone leading professional learning in their school. Whether you use IRIS Connect or not, you’ll leave with new ideas and strategies that are easy to implement and deliver impact quickly.

Ross McTaggart, Headteacher and Jane Cole, Maths Lead of Barnes Farm Junior School
In this 15 minute talk, Ross and Jane will share how they have used video and the IRIS Connect platform for school improvement. They will also cover how they have been using Film Clubs to get their teachers talking about teaching and learning.
Workshop: Improving outcomes through CPD
In this collaborative session we’ll look at how you can ensure your CPD activities are outcome focused and share strategies for overcoming the barriers to success.
Film club workshop
We’ll break out the popcorn and look at how to create a positive professional learning culture with IRIS Connect film club. We’ll run through Episode 1: The Empire Talks Back, which looks at developing independent learners through effective classroom dialogue and you’ll leave equipped with everything you need to run a successful film club in your school.

You’ll get to see what’s new in the IRIS Connect platform (a lot has changed in the last couple of years) and have the opportunity to ask questions, discuss challenges and share insights.
