Event Objectives

This event is planned and organised in order to develop IT-related skills which could empower the attendee to create potential part time/ full-time job opportunities for themselves and others within the community. The subjects are selected in such a manner that the attendees could possibly perform the job and sell their service and products from the comfort of their own home. This is a non-profit charity event


Event Content

1)Social media marketing- Create content and market products and service using social media platforms

2)Website development - Learn basics of website development and learn how to create a full fledged website as little as £1 a year. Learn how to host a website and how to buy domain name. Create static website for business and for individual with no programming skill

3)Logo creation- Use Photoshop or other opensource tools to create stunning logo - sell them online

4)Brochures creation - Use photoshop or opensource tools to create stunning logo - sell them online

5)How to sell your creativity and service online - We will introduce procedure and method on how to sell service and product securely online

6)Presentation making in power point- How to create impressive presentation by using Microsoft Power Point.

7)Photoshop basics - A widely used tool for various image related work in digital space

8) Spread sheet basics - formula and script - widely used tool accounting and business - Technique to use formula and its VB based scripting methods

Important Notes to the participants

1) Entry to the British Motor Musuem is free with the event ticket, details of exhibits and activities at the museam can be found in the website https://www.britishmotormuseum.co.uk/

2)All participants should bring own laptop for the event.

3)Tea, Coffee and light refreshment will be provided. No lunch is arranged by the organisaers, participants can buy lunch at the Museam Canteen.
