The Ecology Centre is currently celebrating its 20th year. As an inclusive and community-led organisation, they inspire positive change through directly connecting people and the natural environment. Their methods and styles of environmental involvement, learning and participation are designed to be accessible, to inspire through generating enthusiasm and curiosity. In addition to learning about ecology and the environment, one of the benefits for participants is gaining increased confidence and self-esteem through their experiences.

The three learning outcomes for this visit include:

1 A better understanding of how this work contributes towards improving mental health & wellbeing

2 A better understanding of the issues associated with and benefits of developing a wide range of activities for different target groups / customers
