Community Led Housing: A critical evaluation

Community Led housing is now being promoted as an important part of housing strategy by both Central Government and the GLA offering the opportunity to increase supply through innovative approaches to governance, land ownership and rent setting. To what extent will this be a panacea to London’s affordable housing crisis? What kinds of obstacles are there to community led housing? Are some models more progressive than others?
