Community Legal Education and Information in Wales Event

Please join us to launch the Community Legal Education and Information (CLEI) In Wales Research Report and the eagerly awaited Street Law Module at Swansea University!

Over the last year the CLEI Research Project, funded by the Legal Education Research Network (LERN) has consider how Welsh Law Schools make the law accessible to the wider community, specifically children and young people, and has investigated what children and young people want to enable them to access the law.

One of the highly positive outcomes of this piece of work is the development of the first accredited Welsh Street Law Module which will be officially launched during the event by our special guest and esteemed US Street Law Expert – Professor Ellen Marrus (Director, Center for Children, Law and Policy, University of Houston).

We want to thank all those who have taken part in the research, especially the young people from across Wales, to celebrate the great CLEI work taking place in Wales and to plan for a future of CLEI in Wales. We very much hope you can join us.

Hold the Date!

Event Agenda to follow.

Digwyddiad Addysg a Gwybodaeth Gyfreithiol i'r Gymuned yng Nghymru

Ymunwch â ni ar ddydd Iau 1 Chwefror 2018 i lansio Adroddiad Addysg a Gwybodaeth Gyfreithiol i'r Gymuned (CLEI) yng Nghymru a'r modiwl Cyfraith y Stryd y ceir disgwyl mawr amdano ym Mhrifysgol Abertawe!

Dros y flwyddyn ddiwethaf mae'r Prosiect Ymchwil CLEI a ariennir gan y Rhwydwaith Ymchwil Addysg Gyfreithiol (LERN) wedi ystyried sut mae Ysgolion y Gyfraith yng Nghymru yn sicrhau bod y gyfraith yn hygyrch i'r gymuned ehangach yn enwedig i blant a phobl ifainc a'r hyn y mae plant a phobl ifainc yn dymuno ei gael i'w galluogi i gael mynediad i'r gyfraith.

Un o ganlyniadau hynod bositif y darn o waith hwn yw datblygu'r modiwl achrededig Cyfraith y Stryd cyntaf yng Nghymru a chaiff ei lansio'n swyddogol yn ystod y digwyddiad gan ein gwestai arbennig a'r Arbenigwr ym maes Cyfraith y Stryd o'r Unol Daleithiau sef Ellen Marrus (Cyfarwyddwr, Canolfan i Blant, Prifysgol Houston).

Hoffem ddiolch i’r rheiny sydd wedi cymryd rhan yn yr ymchwil; yn enwedig i'r bobl ifainc o bob cwr o Gymru, hoffem ddathlu gwaith gwych CLEI a gynhelir yng Nghymru a chynllunio ar gyfer dyfodol o CLEI yng Nghymru. Gobeithiwn yn fawr iawn y bydd modd i chi ymuno â ni.

Agenda'r digwyddiad i ddilyn.
