Listening is at the heart of building strong, connected communities.
This online session, part of the Rooted & Resourced series, will explore ways to understand your local area, the people in it, and the strengths your faith or community group can bring.
We’ll look at practical approaches to listening in your community, including ways to gather insights through surveys, data, or conversations.
You’ll also be encouraged to reflect on your group’s skills and resources, and how these might meet local needs.
In this free session for Network of Kindness members, we’ll cover:
- Understanding your community – using surveys, conversations, and local data to explore demographics and needs.
- Mapping your group’s strengths – reflecting on the skills, resources, and experience your group can offer.
- Building connections – linking local insight with action and community support.
This is the first of a four-part online series for Network of Kindness members, delivered by Together Liverpool staff.

Who is it for? Small charities, churches, faith and community groups in the Network of Kindness. No prior experience needed.
