1st National Community Managed Libraries Conference, Sheffield - PLEASE SAVE THE DATE

We are delighted to announce the first national conference of the Community Managed Libraries Network (CMLs), a network of peers from the full spectrum of CMLs, including independently funded to those who receive local authority support working to help CMLs access advice, resources and support they need to run their libraries effectively.

Date: 20th of March 2018

Location: Sheffield Library Services, Carpenter Room

Contributors: CMLs in Sheffield, Upper Norwood Library Hub, Locality, Libraries Taskforce, Power to Change, Sheffield Library Services, Society for Chief Librarians and more.

Draft Programme (subject to slight changes): Organised visits to other CMLs in Sheffield, Masterclasses in Building Impact and Creating Influence, Volunteering and Succession Planning, Skills Acquisition, Income Generation, Business Planning; surgeries and carousel type events including stalls.
