Community Mapping Day
Event Information
About this Event
It’s Community Mapping Day!
Today, on World Human Right’s Day, you will be part of a global community of The University of Manchester students, staff, alumni and supporters mapping remote areas of Northern Uganda to deliver health care and prosthetic limbs.
Details on how to map and the support available are below, along with information on how you can let us know you’ve taken part.
How to Map
To get going, head to communitymapping.org and follow the instructions provided. There’s also a video to help walk you through the process. You can map at any time for as long as you like, meaning you can fit your volunteering around your schedule.
Top tip
You can map on any device, but you may find it easiest to use a device with a mouse or trackpad. For the best experience, we recommend using the Firefox or Chrome web browser.
