Target Audience: All current mentors at the University and those interested in becoming a mentor.

The Community of Practice for Mentors (CoP) provides a safe space for peer-to-peer development and co-supervision. Join established and aspiring mentors across the University to share experiences and insights, celebrate successes and embrace failures.

If you haven’t attended the CoP before, you are very welcome to join.

Please register using your Sussex email address (e.g. ab123@sussex). A link to join the session will be emailed to you the day before the event.

We’ve made it simpler to book on to our events. You no longer need to provide a budget code and there won’t be a charge if you can’t attend. However, it is essential that you let us know as soon as possible if you need to cancel your place by emailing od@sussex.ac.uk. If you’re off sick, please still try to email or ask a colleague to help.

Why is this important? If you don’t cancel your place in advance, an event with few bookings might not be able to proceed – or colleagues on a waiting list might not have enough notice to take your place. Please let us know.

Please let us know as soon as possible if you have any specific requirements regarding this staff development activity (e.g. hearing/visual impairment) so that we can do our very best to accommodate your needs.
