In recognition of Preparedness Month, SouthWest Fest, One Westminster and Westminster City Council invite you to Westminster’s first Community Resilience Day.
By integrating the arts and cultural focus that SouthWest Fest champions in the local area, we’ll offer interactive activities, designed to inspire and equip the community to plan for a resilient future.
This event is all about bringing residents, local organisations and emergency services together to build a stronger, connected and more resilient community!
What to Expect:
- Meet emergency services and learn how they support our community before, during and after emergencies
- Discover practical tips and resources to help you and your community enhance your preparedness and personal resilience
- Connect with local organisations who are working to make Westminster more resilient
- Enjoy Community-friendly activities, stalls and share learning with local residents
- Free food and refreshments so that you can fully engage and enjoy the event
Why It Matters:
This event is part of a wider initiative to strengthen community resilience across Westminster. By coming together, we can boost awareness and preparedness to build a culture of preparedness in Westminster.
Who is this event for?
- Residents
- Local community networks/Leaders
- Voluntary and Community Sector Organisations (VCS)
- Faith Organisations
The event is open to everyone in the community; you do not need to have a ticket to show up on the day. However, registering gives us an indication of how many people are attending and will allow us to make Community Resilience Day the best even that it can be. So, we encourage you to register if you plan to attend.
We can’t wait to see you there! Let’s work together to make our community resilient,
stronger and more connected. #WestminsterPrepared
