About this event

Scottish Government is undertaking a review of Community Right to Buy legislation. Since this right was established in 2016 very few communities have successfully employed it. Common challenges include the beurocracy of the process and the onus on communities to prove the success of their project. Urban communities have also faced unique challenges when exercising this right.

This event will bring together a range of community groups with experience of successful and unsuccessful CRtB, those with aspirations to community ownership, and those who wish to share their opinion on the issue. This event will shape our organisational response to the consultation, ensuring on the ground experience is reflected.

Join us so we can address the significant barriers to CRtB and advocate for a simplified right which truly empowers communities to take on sustainable assets.

Panellists TBA!
