About this event
Join the Community Solution Seekers!
“In our last session, we explored the many assets, connections, and sources of energy that already exist across Dowsborough. Together, we uncovered the people, places, and projects that make this community strong — and began to see how these strengths can be woven together to address local priorities.
In this next session, we’ll move from mapping to making.
We’ll focus on:
- Bringing ideas and connections together into collaborative projects.
- Identifying shared resources — spaces, skills, networks, and funding opportunities — that can help those ideas take root.
- Using practical problem-solving to develop clear, achievable action plans.
- Building small working groups to begin testing and prototyping our ideas in real life.
By the end of the session, we’ll have the first version of a Community Action Portfolio — a set of projects that reflect the collective imagination and capacity of Dowsborough. This is where we start putting our ideas into motion, learning by doing, and strengthening the relationships that make community-led change possible.”
This is a welcoming space where local people and organisations serving the community come together to explore ways to improve health and well-being in their communities. You don’t need to be an expert - just bring an open mind, a willingness to listen, and a desire to share ideas when you’re ready.
If you’ve missed previous sessions, no worries — you can still come along and join in!
