What is Conscious Connected Breathwork

Simply put, Breathwork is a form of active meditation that deepens our connection to mind, body, soul. Through using conscious breathing patterns, we can access the subconscious, uncovering old thought patterns and beliefs, releasing heavy emotion, and literally rewiring our nervous system

What are some of the benefits of conscious connected breathwork

Detoxing the body, releasing pain and emotions, boosting immunity, lowers stress , improves brain function, gaining clarity of thought and inner wisdom/intuition, releases oxytocin and endorphins

How to prepare for the session

Find a quiet undisturbed cozy space where you can comfortably lie down. Have a blanket , eye mask/something to cover the eyes, and a small pillow. Please wear comfortable clothing and socks, and position the computer camera on your body. And eat food 60min prior (please refrain from alcohol too)

What are the contraindications

These include : cardiovascular conditions eg high blood pressure or heart attack or aneurysms, epilepsy, severe asthma, glaucoma, detached retina, osteoporosis, recent surgery, severe mental health eg psychosis, pregnancy

What does a session look like

It’s an active meditation where you lie down and are guided using specific breathing techniques. The sessions also have a: demonstration of the techniques, discussion of potential responses, intention setting, meditation and/or movement to help you start reconnecting with body, and integration
