The City of Medicine Hat is developing a Community Well-Being Plan with the goal of ensuring that everyone feels safe, economically secure, and has a deep sense of belonging while living in Medicine Hat. The Community Well-Being Plan’s mission is to embrace change and look out for each other, so all Hatters can meet their basic needs and are supported, empowered, and free to participate fully in the community.

This includes key areas like housing, food access, mental and physical healthcare, social support, education, and employment. Well-Being planning brings together government, organizations, and community members to address well-being challenges in the community.

We are inviting community organizations and leaders to share their insights and contribute to the development of the Community Well-Being Plan to ensure that the strategy reflects the needs of the community.

Participating in a workshop is an opportunity:

• Share your valuable community insights and expertise,

• Engage in meaningful discussions and problem-solving sessions, and

• Contribute to the development of practical solutions and strategies.

Three seperate sessions will be offered to community organizations, businesses, and community leaders. Please select the session that applies to you.
