Commuter Ferry Grand Launch and other Bristol Big Ideas
Go Green Breakfast Event with Bristol Ferries and Stride Treglown
7.50am -9.00am, Tuesday 28th March 2017, from Temple Meads Landing Station
The Floating Harbour was once just an idea… and, despite the size of the challenge, this audacious plan was eventually realised.
Join us for this exclusive launch of the brand new Bristol Ferry commuter service and also talk about the Floating Harbour and other big ideas. The service aims to provide Bristolians with a sustainable and relaxing way to get to work in the morning via 17 stops around the city centre.
The cruise will take place aboard Brigantia, one of five boats currently in the Ferry fleet which has both outdoor and indoor seating as well as heating and a lavatory. Bristol Ferry are celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the first ferry service in Bristol and are also in the process of designing and building a new hybrid ferry.
The walk from Temple Meads Station to the starting point, Temple Meads Station Landing, is just three minutes - see the route here
Once the commuter service is launched, the ticket pricing will be as follows:
- Single £1.50/£2.00
- Return £3.00/£4.00
Or take advantage of these fantastic ticket deals:
