How do I get there on public transport?

BUS number 174 stops right outside the park (get off at 'The Chase' bus stop), TUBE: District Line to Dagenham East (10 min walk to Eastbrookend Country Park) or Dagenham Heathway then take bus 174 towards Romford (get off at 'The Chase').

We love responsible dog-owners and want to celebrate our furry friends here at Eastbrookend Country Park with Barking Dog Training Club. This event is open to all dog owners, plus local families who want to watch the fun. Money raised will go to the London Retired Police Dogs Trust (LRPD UK).

Enter your pup into the Dog-Show to see if they can win a rosette or trophy in one of the best in Breed Classes, or the Novelty Classes (e.g. Waggiest Tail, Best Rescue, Golden Oldie etc) - £3 per dog per class to enter.

Sign up for an Obedience Class to learn or improve heelwork, recall and retrieval skills - £2.50 per dog per class.

Compete in some fun Speed and Agility Contests - see how fast your dog can come back to you or go round the dog agility course - pay as you enter, £1.00 per dog per go.

There will also be stalls selling dog toys and home made cakes, plus doggy ice-cream (for dogs) and other treats (for human visitors!) are available to buy at the Eastbrookend Tea Rooms.
