Compassion for the World

How can the wisdom of Ibn ‘Arabi be applied to contemporary issues such as global warming?

A talk by Jane Clark

Although self-contained, this talk is the third of three talks about the wisdom of Muhyiddin Ibn 'Arabi as it applies to modern life, delivered in Sydney and Melbourne earlier this year, following on from:

1) Learning from the Natural World; Ibn ‘Arabi on the wisdom of the animals, plants and minerals. Youtube

2) What is a well-integrated spirituality? The practical wisdom of Ibn ‘Arabi. Youtube

Jane Clark is a Senior Research Fellow of the Muhyiddin Ibn ‘Arabi Society, and has lectured and conducted courses both in the UK (Oxford University Department of Continuous Education, The Temenos Academy, The Beshara Trust), and internationally in Spain, Egypt, Syria and USA. She has recently completed a series of events in Australia where the first two talks mentioned above were delivered. Jane is currently the editor of Beshara Magazine.
