Learn How To Speak From The Heart, Listen Empathically And Connect Through The Conflict Of The Climate And Ecological Crisis.
About this event
Are you drained and depleted by talking about the state of the world?
Are you overwhelmed by what's happening to our natural ecosystems? Despairing for the inaction of governments and businesses?
Would you like to feel heard by your friends and family? To have them acknowledge your pain, while also being able to empathise with their perspective and resistance to what you're saying?
Nonviolent Communication is an extremely powerful framework to communicate and listen from the heart, deeper than the perceptions and judgments of the mind. This workshop applies this power to the climate and ecological crisis and the challenges of being coaches, facilitators, changemakers and activists.
And this is more than a talk or seminar, because we will use these tools to resolve painful triggers from recent events and connect with each other through mutual care and purpose.
This is a space to be seen, to be heard and to be vulnerable.
We will cover:
-Expressing yourself from your heart, allowing others to connect with you.
-Listening with empathy, to find connection with others beneath surface-level conflicts.
-Connecting through, and resolving triggers from recent media and events related to the climate crisis.
I look forward to seeing you there.
