About this event
- Do you find it hard to speak up at work?
- Ever worry your message isn’t landing the way you intended?
- Need to deliver sensitive news but unsure how to approach it?
Then this workshop is for you!
This one-day, face-to-face workshop is designed for healthcare staff who regularly deliver difficult information — whether to patients, families, or colleagues — and want to feel more confident, clear and compassionate when they do.
Facilitated by experienced clinical staff, this course is uniquely tailored to those in non-leadership roles, including admin and clerical teams, who often feel their voice goes unheard. Using Maguire-trained techniques, grounded in real-life healthcare experience and evidence-based practice, the session combines presentations, video, and small-group work to help you practise new strategies in a safe space.
What will you take away?
- Practical tools for assertive, compassionate communication
- Confidence to speak clearly — even when it’s difficult
- Space to practise and reflect with others who get it
Why it matters:
Better communication boosts patient experience, reduces misunderstandings and strengthens team culture. And it all starts with feeling heard.
Suitable for
This workshop is suitable for all staff including admin & clerical without management or leadership roles
Cost: £245
