Compassionate Voices Collaborative Speak Out
Empowering Women & Girls: A Night of Impact
We are delighted to announce our first-ever Compassionate Voices Collaborative Speak Out event, taking place at the Chesterfield Football Club on Friday, 12th September, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:15 p.m. Doors open at 6:30pm
Join members of the Compassionate Voices Community as they take the stage alongside inspiring speakers. Together, we will celebrate the brilliance of women and girls through heartfelt stories, powerful poetry, and soul-stirring music. This evening is designed to empower, uplift, and ignite change.
We are proud to share that this special event has been funded by Foundation Derbyshire for its core costs and supported by additional sponsorship from Turbine Surface Technologies LTD to ensure an ultra-special evening for all.
Our programme features an incredible lineup of trailblazing women who are leading change in their fields and advocating for better mental health. One of our very special guests is Esther Ghey (mother of Brianna Ghey). Since the tragic loss of her daughter in 2023, Esther has appeared in numerous television interviews, becoming a passionate campaigner for social media reform. She is also the founder of Peace and Mind UK—a service dedicated to enhancing mental health for young people and their families through the promotion of mindfulness in schools. We are absolutely delighted by Esther’s presence; her compassion and determination to foster positive change are truly inspiring.
Tickets are available NOW! Stay tuned, as more guest speakers and the complete itinerary will be announced in the coming days.
Admission Details:

We are so proud to have Nicolle Ndiweni-Roberts (Police and Crime Commissioner for Derbyshire) Another trailblazer, leader, strategist and changemaker. She will also be sharing her journey at our incredible Compassionate Voices Collaborative Speak Out.
Elected in May 2024, Nicolle Ndiweni-Roberts leads the charge against economic and cyber-crime as one of the APCC Leads, tackling online fraud, hacking, harassment, and identity theft.
With a Criminology and International Relations degree from the University of Lincoln, Nicolle’s journey spans both the public and private sectors—from empowering SMEs as a Business Expansion Specialist to championing safer communities as a District Councillor.
A passionate advocate for collaboration, she bridges the gap between policing, policy, and public-private partnerships. As Vice Chair and Women’s Representative on Labour’s East Midlands Regional Board, she drives transformative community initiatives.
Beyond politics, Nicolle is deeply committed to online safety, shaping digital security efforts through the Nova Education Trust and the East Midlands Cyber Resilience Centre. Her work with universities and local government fosters innovation, ensuring tech talent thrives in the region.
Nicolle’s vision is shaping a safer, stronger Derbyshire.
SOUND CHECK... 1, 2, 3!
Introducing the incredible Laura Moakes, our sound technician for the Compassionate Voices UK Collaborative Speak Out this September—and yes, we take girl power seriously!
Laura lives locally, but her talent travels far and wide—she’s worked with the likes of 50 Cent, ABC, and many more. When she’s not behind the mixing desk for legends, she’s busy working the UK festival circuit all summer long.
We’re buzzing she’s bringing her magic to our very first Speak Out event—who knows, if this becomes an annual celebration (and we hope it does!), maybe Laura will make it a regular gig too!
