Description

Free Tickets to Screenings of Maiden in London and Across the UK

We are delighted to offer WFTV members tickets to see Maiden, the incredible, against-all-odds story of sailor Tracy Edwards, who skippered the first all-female international crew in the 1989 Whitbread Round the World Yacht Race.

There will be nationwide previews of the film, followed by a Q&A with Tracy Edwards via satellite, on Thursday 7 March before the film is released nationwide on International Women's Day (8 March).

We have 50 tickets available for WFTV members to attend a special London screening on Sunday 10 March at PictureHouse Central, which will also feature a Q&A with Tracy Edwards. Please book a ticket for yourself and a guest.

We also have a pair of tickets up for grabs to the preview screenings with satellite Q+A (taking place at 6:00pm on Thursday 7 March) in Cardiff, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Brighton.

If you would like to enter our competition to win two tickets to attend the preview in one of those cities, simply answer the following question and send your response to miriam@wftv.org.uk. You MUST also clearly state which city you would like to attend in if you do win.

How old was Tracy Edwards when she skippered her all-female crew in the 1989 Whitbread Round the World Yacht Race?

B) 34

The deadline for entries is 5:00pm on Friday 22 February. Good luck!

NB. Winners will be selected at random and notified on Monday 25 February. More precise details about the locations and how to collect tickets will follow.
