Local authorities which run inhouse adult social care services should complete the Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT) at least once a year.
The DSPT is a free, online self-assessment tool which enables local authorities to check and improve their data protection and cyber security arrangements.
The deadline for completing the toolkit for 2021/22 is 30 June 2022.
