We are delighted to be hosting Dr. Katherine Shear from the Center for Complicated Grief, New York and Dr. Colin Murray Parkes, who will be our Chair for the day.

We will also be joined by David Trickey from The Anna Freud Centre and Dr. Susan Delaney from the Irish Hospice Foundation.

Presentations for the day include:

  • An introduction to complicated grief treatment. Treating complicated grief with adaptive grief theory: and overview and evidence for efficacy. Dr Katherine Shear

  • Understanding and working with parents following traumatic bereavement. David Trickey
