Join sound artist Hayley Suviste for a creative workshop where you’ll discover simple, playful ways to turn nature’s sounds into musical compositions using Ableton Move. You’ll also take home a free download of Note*, Ableton’s mobile app for sketching and developing musical ideas. Suitable for 18+
This 2.5-hour session is part of the EarthSonic Live All Dayer – a day of workshops, talks, and performances at Manchester Museum.

About Hayley Suviste:
Working across field recording, archival sound, & moving image, Hayley explores the connections between people, culture, and place. Based in Manchester, her work blends voices, stories, and environmental sound to invite reflection on how we listen to and inhabit the world around us. She often collaborates with local communities to create shared works exploring Manchester’s sonic landscape and runs field recording & sound-walking workshops with The Manchester Ear.
Hayley has been commissioned by Sounds from the Other City, Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, Mediale, MediaCityUK, & the BBC Philharmonic, & has held residencies with Forestry England, Maajaam (Estonia), and EMS (Sweden).
