Event description

Description

Computational Psychiatry is a new interdisciplinary field combining mental health research with computational modelling. The Computational Psychiatry Summer Course (https://www.cpcourse.org/) has been run in London for the past 3 years. This year in New York we are pleased to announce a half-day of introductory sessions for attendees with minimal experience in computational modelling.

In response to the course evaluations from last year, we will be including sessions on Bayesian theory, reinforcement learning and neuroeconomics. This session is designed to complement the main course and give beginners the basic knowledge required to understanding the lectures in further depth.

The session will take place the afternoon of Sunday 28th July. Limited Spaces are avaliable.

The session will be delivered by Rachel Bedder (Max Planck UCL Centre for Computational Psychiatry) and Vincenzo Fiore (Icahn School of Medicine at Mt Siani). It will be interactive, and would benefit from attendees having a device to access the internet on.

You must have registered for the full course before signing up for the introductory session.
