Event description

Description

Have you wanted to use your computer for more than just emails and looking at the web?

If you have either curiosity or a burning desire to improve your artistic skills, come along to The National Museum of Computing and see just what kind of art you can do with a computer and your imagination.

Bring your own laptop or tablet, or use one of the available machines at the museum to explore the world of art and drawing. On hand to provide both help and inspiration will be a seasoned artist with many years' experience of both drawing and technology.

We will also have a small selection of older computers, magazines and media from across the web that shows how computing has evolved to fulfil a greater role in the creative and artistic world.

The Art Class is being run as a part of the Summer Bytes festival at The National Museum of Computing. An entrance fee is required to gain admittance to the museum, but there will be no additional cost for the art class.
